IT Nearshore Outsourcing in Mexico

According to an article published in the Mexican newspaper “El Financiero”, Mexico is expecting a 6.3% growth in the IT industry on 2015; this growth is over the average of 5.7% expected for LATAM.

Brazil is the current leader in IT/BPO but it’s loosing competitiveness, mainly because of the labor reforms that has been affecting the industry and incrementing costs.

Mexico’s competitive costs and being a good source of talent makes it an appealing destination for IT and BPO. In fact Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara are considered into the “2015 Top100 Outsourcing Destination”, being in the place 40, 41 and 46 respectively. But these are not the only cities that are good options for an IT business in Mexico; Queretaro, Puebla, Aguascalientes, Sonora and Sinaloa have a good performance on the IT field, they have good infrastructure, good IT education or government support.
